Topper Experts

We are the Topper specialists and can supply any part for your Topper from a bung to a complete boat. We are more than happy to take orders by email (quoting reference numbers please if possible) but can advise you best if you phone us (01243 379444). We will never knowingly sell you things you don’t need. Our advice is based on a great deal of experience with the Topper Class and with coaching sailors. Amongst other things Dave has been instrumental in getting the centre-main, 4.2 sail and the 6:! downhaul accepted by the Class. His coaching commitments (see 2xlcoaching) means he attends most major events and keeps in touch with all the latest developments in this increasingly successful fleet. The advice we give is freely given whether or not you buy from us.

Topper International Dealer

We are the South Coast Topper International Dealer and supply all their range of boats from a Taz to an Omega. Please give us the opportunity to quote and/or arrange a test sail. When we supply a boat we always prefer to set the boats up with you the first time. Our prices are keen at all times of the year.

Economical Sails

We import sails from the Far East for an increasing range of one-design boats.

They are extremely well made and at a very good price. Why not give us a call for prices and availablity. For example we are doing a full suit of Dacron sails for Fevas for £295 and a Laser 4.7 sail for £149 including battens. These are not official sails but the price does not reflect the quality which is the very highest.

Coaching

I am always pleased to give advice to young sailors and their parents on any aspect of the RYA Junior and Youth programme. Adam and I have set up a coaching partnership - 2xlcoaching.com. To excel get it? I'm sure you already had but just in case .......... Click on the 2xl link and gets some dinghy racing tips. It's mostly about Toppers of course but lots of things are common to all classes.

SAILING SOLUTIONS TOPPER 4.2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - 29 April 2008 - 06 May 2008

LUCY YEATES IS TOPPER 4.2 CHAMPION and wins a 5.3 sail from Sailing Solutions.

20 compeditors, great breezes and fiece competition made the Sailing Solutions Topper 4.2 National Championships an excellent event. Congratulations go to Lucy Yeates who lifted the Sailing Solutions Trophy and a brand new 5.3 sail. This is now the second year out of three that the trophy has been won by a female sailor which boads very well for the future.

ELLIOT HANSON WINS in a SPRINT!

Once again Sprints triumph at a major championship. Elliot Hanson first, Richard Cumpsty second and Andy Dawson third were all sailing SPRINTS at the 2008 Topper Inland Championships.

TOPPER WORLDS 2008 - 03 October 2007

“The Gul Topper World Championships 2008 will take place during the period Saturday 19^th July to Friday 25^th July 2008 and be hosted by the Tralee Bay Sailing Club (www.traleebaysailingclub.com) at Fenit which is located approximately 6 miles due west of Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

Sailing Solutions Sprint wins World Championship - 18 September 2007

Our special edition SPRINT - is the best prepared Topper you can buy and being updated all the time.

As chosen by Mike Wood the current World Champion, Andrew Brown the current National and Elliot Hanson the current Inland National Champion.

Since 2004 SPRINTS have won all four National Championships, all five Inland National Championships, three World Championships, and three overall Nationwide series.
